Waste Consignment/Transfer Notes (WTNs) |
Sooner or later, you’ll want to get hazardous waste off the school premises
altogether. Transporting it off-site for treatment and disposal requires
registration of the school premises and certain documents. These are
called Waste Transfer or Consignment notes (documentation for hazardous
waste shipments).
In addition, depending on the waste that’s being shipped, it may be up
to you to indicate whether the waste can be disposed of in a landfill “as
is,” or whether it may need additional treatment first.
