STORAGE/DISPOSAL > Overview
The Environmental Regulatory Agency (EA, SEPA etc) in conjunction
with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) will regulate the control
of harmful substances, generally those that are considered toxic,
oxidising, explosive or flammable under a number of differing regulations
depending on types and quanitities:
- Control of Major Accident Hazard (COMAH) Regulations 1999
- Control Of Substances Hazardous To Health (COSHH) Regulations
2002
- Radioactive Sources - Radioactive Substances Act (RSA) 1993
